La Pizza Fresca Ristorante was established in 1996 with the objective to bring authentic Neapolitan pizza to residents of New York City. This vision was broadened to include offering fine Italian cuisine comparable to what one would presently find in Italy, and to offer a vast selection of the best Italian wine.

As with our pizza, we strive to source and utilize the finest imported ingredients and quality domestic produce, meat and seafood for our menu. We believe that the better the quality of the raw ingredients, the finer the end result on the plate will be. We also think that the best ingredients require less intervention and handling to create a delicious and simple dish.

Our wine "collection" at La Pizza Fresca Ristorante has been the focal point of some debate. We are passionate about great wine, particularly from Italy and more precisely from certain regions and specific producers. This explains our focus on selected styles of wine and the winemakers who we feel best exemplify them. While we have many of the top bottles at commensurate prices, we also have eighty wines below $75, twenty five half bottle (375 ml.) selections and several wine alternatives poured by the glass.

We feel that having focus and passion help us to provide our customers with the best food and wine experience possible. We hope you share our passion.
